The RSNV runs an autogated Gen2+ intensifier inside a waterproof polymer housing — 285 grams on the helmet, true 1x magnification, and IR-assisted detection out to roughly 120 m. The included dovetail J-arm drops onto any standard shroud, flips up out of the way, and puts real night vision on your kit for a fraction of the usual entry price.
